These inserts are great. I have tried the type that you attach them via one of your toes and then you have to try and hole it in place while putting on your sock or shoe which turned out to be a little difficult. This one all you do is put it in place and then attached it via the velcro attachment. And the ones for your heel just needs to be placed in your shoe and your done. Both supports are made of a very soft and comfortable material. They are neatly packed and shipped in I believe a mylar package. I think that if you are having issues with the plantar fasciitis these support braces and inserts will help with the pain.
