Not only is this for cats but dogs love it also. I have a dog and along with her stuffed animals she is nuts over a laser light. This one is awesome in that it is rechargeable. You don’t have to worry about changing batteries just plug it into a regular usb plug and charge away. It does come with a short cable though you have to provide your own end plug. It has 5 different laser patterns, spaceship, butterfly, smiley fact, thumbs up and the regular laser dot. There is also a wrist band which I would use it to hang it up on a hook. It comes in a nice metal storage case if you choose to not hang it up just keep it in the case. I do also have cats that they do also love the laser lights. And also instead of the normal push button on/off that you have to hold down to operate it this one has a switch which you push on/off and don’t have to hold onto it to keep it on.
