Electric Engraver
This engraver is quite nice. It is made of metal, not plastic like many are which means it will last longer then most. It has a 23,000 RPM motor giving it more then enough power to perform any engraving job you have to complete.
It comes with 3 diamond tip bits and the tool to install them and requires 2 AAA batteries. You can use any bit that is 2.34mm.
I tried it out on my letter opener which is made of silver and it was fairly smooth to engrave. The button to operate it is located just in the right position when using it with ease of pushing on it. Just hold it the same as you would hold a pen. I have used other engraving tools that were powered by a cord that plugs into the wall and having one that is battery operated is so much easier. Not having that cord attached to the tool make all the difference in the world.
You can etch on jewelry, stone, wood, plastic, ceramic, glass, silver and other metals with ease. It is just the right size and has just the right power to get most small jobs done. If you have a small project to engrave this tool will surely get it done for you.
